| Bibliography: | Industrial/organizational, or I/O psychology is an exciting field that has enjoyed continual growth in the United State and the industrialized wold thoughout its almost 100 year history. What began as a tiny subspecialty of psychology, known only to a few practitioners and professors, has grown to be one of the major applied specialties in psychology worldwide. This attention is due to two factors. This attention is due to two. First, I/O is concerned with the workplace, so its findings, and principles are relevent to everyone who has held a job.
